Why these four lures
Tuna are a school fish that key on commotion before they key on a single bait. The Tuna Flyer is three skirted heads running in tandem; it looks like a handful of small fish running scared and brings the school up. The Tuna Striker is what they eat once they are there. The Pink Phantom Striker and the Tuna Assassin are both three bait rigs with a hook in every squid: the Phantom in hot pink and purple, the Assassin in the classic red and white tuna colors.
How to fish it
Run the Tuna Flyer well back on the third wave, letting it skip and dive behind the prop wash. Tuna Striker on a flat line, Pink Phantom Striker on the short rigger, Tuna Assassin on the long rigger. Troll 6 to 9 knots over humps, rips, wrecks, color changes and temperature breaks. When you mark bait and birds, slow down and turn wide so the whole spread sweeps the edge of the school.
